Chambers 2019 rankings released !

We are tremendously proud to have moved up a band in the law firm rankings released by legal directory Chambers and Partners.

Younity is now the only boutique firm in Band 3 amongst well-reputed full-service firms, which is a recognition of our efforts to develop a skilled and solid team during recent years.

Many thanks to our clients who are a crucial factor in our success and who praised us by saying that Younity is an « excellent boutique law firm, specialising in compensation and benefits, » and comprising « specific high-level experts. » Interviewees also appreciate the team’s « quick and detailed responses. »

Moreover, 3 of our partners are ranked individually. Chambers comments as follows:

« Sources describe managing partner Corinne Merla as « an authority on pensions. » She manages large pension funds and assists clients with the pensions implications of global employment structures. Merla is noted for her « very good knowledge of legislation and realistic approach. »

Jean-Philippe Cordier often handles the employment aspects of M&A transactions and collective restructurings. Clients admire his « pragmatic approach to issues, straightforward responses and actionable point of view, » while also commenting that he is « always available and very responsive. »

Brecht Cops is « very commercially aware and balanced in his own opinion, » according to clients, who also highlight that he « helps with the decision-making process. » His areas of expertise include TUPE transfers, post-transactional restructuring and individual terminations. »
